Topic: The Fundamentals of Financial Statements and Tax Documents

This CLE will help you better understand financial statements and tax documents, what they mean, and which are relevant and important. Dax will identify various examples of financial documents and their relevance to a case. Bring your questions for Q&A.

Speaker: Dax Stoner

Dax Stoner, CPA/ABV, CFF has been a CPA since 1996 having graduated from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Voted Super CPA by Minnesota Law & Politics and Twin Cities Business Monthly, Dax’s practice focuses exclusively on financial litigation with a niche in divorce. Dax serves as a court-appointed financial neutral, FENE evaluator, MSC moderated settlement conference provider, mediator and expert witness working with attorneys, judges and parties on non-marital and marital asset and business valuation issues, determining income, child support and spousal maintenance, and dealing with the division complex financial assets in the context of divorce. Dax frequently testifies in court on financial matters and is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
