Topic: Don’t Let Taxes Spook You! Identifying Tax Impacts for Planning, Administering, Litigating and Settling Estates
When you overlook certain tax issues during probate administrations, you could potentially create a monster in the closet! With Halloween around the corner and the work we do as estate planning and probate practitioners, it is key to identify and incorporate proper tax planning for our clients. Attorney Scott Ruhsam will provide an understanding of the tax issues that come into play when preparing a client’s estate plan which thereafter interplays with the administration of a trust or an estate. In addition, Scott will outline the importance of the tax perspectives during settlement options in estate and trust litigation…because no one wants the tax issue to come back and haunt them.
Speaker: Scott A. Ruhsam, Partner Attorney at Kennedy & Ruhsam Law Offices
