Topic: Immigration 101

Catherine Bauer will discuss an overview of immigration law along with a focus on the basics of family based immigration law.

Speaker: Catherine Bauer

Catherine A. Bauer is the principal attorney at Bauer Immigration Law Firm. She is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and she founded Bauer Immigration Law Firm in Rochester, MN in May 2009.

Ms. Bauer relocated from France to the United States in 1997 and experienced firsthand the immigration process with her husband and three children. Her personal experience with the US immigration system led Ms. Bauer to change career and put her JD to good use by practicing immigration law.

Since 2009, Ms. Bauer has represented clients all over the world on US immigration matters.She has dedicated her entire practice to US immigration law. She regularly volunteers with LAOC, the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services.

Ms. Bauer is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
