Topic:  Overview of Fiduciary Income Taxes for Paralegals

This session will cover a high-level overview of fiduciary income taxes and what information is needed to successfully prepare fiduciary income tax returns.

Speaker: Erin Donovan, CPA, MBT, Tax Partner with Ernst & Young LLP

Erin is a tax partner in Ernst and Young LLP's Private Client Services and Tax Consulting practice. She has more than 16 years of experience in public accounting serving closely held businesses, family offices, and high net worth individuals. Her primary focus is on supporting individuals, closely held businesses and multigenerational families implement and manage comprehensive income tax planning and reporting, estate plans and business succession plans. Her work includes tax consulting and compliance for a variety of entities, with an emphasis on S corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals.

Erin received her BA in Accounting from University of Saint Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and her Master's of Business Taxation from University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
