Topic: An Overview of the SECURE Act 2020 and How It Affects Estate Planning
The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act, or SECURE Act, 2020 made significant changes to rules for retirement plans. Kristin will discuss the Act and its impact on estate plans.
Speaker: Kristin Gunsolus joined Jones Law Office in 2017. Kristin’s practice focuses on assisting individual and small business clients with their estate, tax and business planning needs. Kristin works with individuals and families on estate tax management, wealth transfers and charitable planning, estate administration and asset protection planning. Kristin assists business and corporate clients with entity formation, business succession and transition planning and other corporate matters. Kristin takes pride in her ability to connect with clients and guide them through the process of creating an individualized plan for the future. Prior to beginning her legal career, Kristin worked in financial services as an Associate Financial Advisor, creating detailed financial plans for clients.
