Topic:  LGBT Discrimination in the Workplace: The Supreme Court’s Recent Decision on Title VII Protections

This presentation will take a deep dive into the three cases recently decided by the Supreme Court of the United States, which determined that Title VII of the 1964 Civil RightsAct (“Title VII”) prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and transgender status. As part of the discussion, we will provide a backdrop on Title VII, pertinent case law, the arguments presented to the Court, and analyze the Court’s opinions.
