Topic: Best Practices for Conducting Remote Depositions

Join us for a presentation on best practices for conducting remote depositions with members of Depo International, Inc., a national and international court reporting, videography and legal support firm. With over 40 years of experience, they have deposed witnesses in all 50 states and more than 30 countries and will share their knowledge and best practices for conducting remote depositions anywhere.

Speakers:

Patricia K. Carl, RPR, TPP, CSR, CCR 609, is the principal and CEO of Depo International, Inc., a national/international litigation support firm with over40 years of service. Patricia is also a working hands-on realtime court reporter. She specializes in technology and loves to work with clients streaming video and text and utilizing the services of interpreters and videographers. Patricia has done extensive traveling with her clients covering depositions in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Milan, Italy. Patricia is also a partner in DI Recruiting, a women-owned company that specializes in direct hire legal recruiting for all types of legal positions.

Brandi Bigalke, RPR RSA, has been a realtime court reporter for 20 years. She is the 2020 Immediate Past Present of MAVRC, the Minnesota Association of Verbatim Reporters and Captioners. Brandi has volunteered for the last two years with the A to Z Intro to Step program at Anoka Technical College introducing new students to the profession of court reporting. Brandi enjoys traveling locally, domestically and internationally for Depo International whom she has worked with for the length of her career. She is certified as a Registered Professional Reporter and a Realtime Systems Administrator and also has her Certified Shorthand Reporter certification for the State of Illinois.

Scott Breckheimer is the video production manager and videographer at Depo International. He has been with DI for just under 10 years, providing clients with videos of witness testimony and trial services. He believes in great customer service and strives for our clients to have the best experience possible. Scott received his CLVS, certified legal video specialist certification, through the NCRA, the National Court Reporters Association, in 2014 and still participates in continuing education classes.

Perri Campion is the director of Client Relations for Depo International. Perri is responsible for sales and marketing promotions and serves as a liaison for their clients and customers, developing relationships, providing guidance and ensuring all of the customer's needs are being met. Perri's favorite aspect of her position is being out and about within the legal community on a daily basis delivering delicious, fresh baked cookies to every deposition. For this reason, Perri is best known as the "cookie girl."
