Topic: Best Practices when Working with Self-Represented Litigants
How do you communicate with self-represented (pro se) litigants? Does this impact court procedures at all? Are the expectations of pro se parties the same as those of an attorney? In many cases, attorneys will find themselves up against pro se litigants. This presentation will discuss best practices when working with pro se individuals as opposing parties.
