Dan will be discussing vendor management including why it is necessary, who Vendors are and which belong in a program, the program over the vendor life cycle, emerging issues, and resources.

Speaker: Dan Godfrey

Dan Godfrey, Senior Compliance Officer, Compeer Financial, ACA, leads the Compeer Legal and Compliance Team’s Vendor Management Program. Dan is an honors graduate from both Minnesota State University-Mankato with a degree in Finance and the University of Minnesota Law School. After completing his education, Dan practiced law for several years and worked in various capacities for two large financial institutions. Prior to his role as Senior Compliance Officer for Compeer, Dan worked at its predecessor, AgStar, in its Risk Asset Unit for 6 years. In addition to leading the Vendor Management Program at Compeer, Dan advises the Compeer team in marketing compliance, contracts and lending compliance.
