Topic: Current eDiscovery Best Practices
This presentation will cover preservation, collection, processing, early case assessment, analytics, review and production including current case law and Federal Rule references, as well as reference to industry standard costs associated with the eDiscovery workflow. We will also include a summary of current enforcement/sanctions and policies.

Speaker: Mark Morgan, J.D.
Mark Morgan, J.D., eDiscovery Director at TransPerfect Chicago, has nearly twenty years of experience in the eDiscovery world. As the Chicago director of operations, he has assembled a talented team of eDiscovery professionals and manages all phases of the eDiscovery Chicago operation. He has completed the Relativity administrator and LAW processing training programs. Mr. Morgan previously served as Litigation Support Manager at the Vedder Price PC law firm. Before becoming Litigation Support Manager at Vedder Price P.C., Mr. Morgan worked as an analyst, litigation software specialist, and project manager. In addition to his eDiscovery experience Mr. Morgan was a commercial litigator and a co-founder of the legal staffing company, Attorney Assistance, Inc., providing contract attorneys and paralegals for document reviews to some of Chicago’s largest law firms.
Mr. Morgan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Bell & Howell Scholar-DePaul University and received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University - College of Law.
