Topic: Curing Title Issues

At this sectional Nancy Landmark will run though various ways to cure title issues. She will provide an overview of Statutory Resolutions and Title Standards, including:

• Minn. Stat. 541.023/Title Standard 61 - 40 year rule
  
• Minn. Stat. 507.29 - Affidavits
  
• Minn. Stat. 508.71- Examiner's Directives
  
• Minn. Stat. 559.01 - Litigation
  

Nancy will also provide an overview of the Minnesota Title Standards.

Nancy Landmark joined Commercial Partners Title in 2005, and has been involved in the title industry full-time since 2000. Prior to that, she was in private practice in central Minnesota. Today she partners with customers to craft title insurance solutions that facilitate their commercial transactions. In 2013, the American Land Title Association recognized Nancy with the National Title Professional ™ designation, reflecting her knowledge, experience, and activity in the title industry.
