Join us for an intuitive presentation on utilizing the key provisions of the Minnesota Trust Code, including establishing directed trusts, providing proper notice to beneficiaries, drafting nonjudicial settlement agreements, filling trustee vacancies without court involvement. and modifying irrevocable trusts.

Speakers: 

Diana M. Ringuette, Associate, Maslon LLP

Diana Marianetti Ringuette is a member of Maslon's Estate Planning Group and practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She works with families and businesses to design and prepare comprehensive estate plans through wills, trust agreements, and other related documents. In addition to her work in the Estate Planning Group, Diana is also a member of Maslon's Litigation Group, assisting clients with disputes involving fiduciary duties, trusts, and probate. Diana's prior experience in the area of complex commercial litigation brings unique perspective to such disputes.


Diana is a cum laude graduate of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has since returned to Mitchell Hamline School of Law as an adjunct professor, teaching a course titled Wills & Trusts Skills. She earned her bachelor's degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, double majoring in communications & media studies, and music (cello). Diana also served as an associate editor for the Hamline Law Review and received the highest distinction in the areas of property, civil procedure, criminal law, and professional responsibility.
